Eighth District Dental Society
The Five W's
What
We are the Eighth District Dental Society of the
Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA). Inclusive in the district is the
Clarion–Jefferson Counties Dental Society. We are an alliance
of dentists working to promote better dentistry for more people in our
rural environment.
Where
We are the largest of PDA’s districts in the
state, by area, that is. We include Jefferson, Clarion, Forest, Warren,
McKean, Cameron, Elk and Potter counties. It is probable that we have
more deer than people!

Why
The Eighth District exists to support dentists and patients in the
geographic area we serve. The board members and officers volunteer many
hours of their time to further the aims and achieve the goals of the
dental profession. They do this for members and non-members alike. We
may be small in number, but the quality of our leaders speaks for
itself. We are constantly seeking additional involvement from our
members and striving to bring new dentists into our
organization.
When
The Eighth District has spring and fall general
membership meetings consisting, normally, of a morning continuing
education class and a lunchtime business session.
The Board of Directors meets quarterly with the council and committee representatives. These meetings are open to all members and guests.
Additional continuing education courses are offered throughout the year.
