PDA offers its members a variety of benefits and services to help its
members and organized dentistry.
Legislative Voice in
Harrisburg
PDA’s government relations staff work with one of
Pennsylvania’s most renowned health-care lobbying firms, The Winter Group, to advocate on
behalf of Pennsylvania dentists. PDA also keeps members informed
about regulatory
activity so they have the opportunity to convey their
concerns to state officials who may not discern the effects certain
regulations will have on dentistry and patients’ access to
care. Award-Winning
Publications
PDA offers members a variety of publications to
keep you abreast of issues affecting you and your profession. PDA
publishes Transitions, a bimonthly newsletter, to deliver
breaking news to members between issues of the award-winning
Pennsylvania Dental Journal. Serving the Public
PDA has
implemented several programs to educate the public on the importance of
good dental health and increase the public’s access to quality
dental care. Examples include the Senior
Dental Care Program, National
Children’s Dental Health Month and the
PDA’s Dental
Clinic Directory. PDA also lobbies for legislation that
