Low-Cost Dental Resources
Senior Dental Care Program
Many Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA) member
dentists offer dental care at a reduced cost to senior citizens on low
or fixed incomes through the Senior
Dental Care Program. More than 1,000 dentists have
participated in this voluntary program, which enables many seniors to
obtain affordable dental care and helps them enjoy good health and
well-being.
Participating referral dentists offer a minimum discount of 15
percent off their usual fees for patients who meet the program’s
basic requirements. In order to be eligible, a patient must fulfill all
of the following requirements:
- Be a Pennsylvania resident.
- Be age 65 or older.
- Not be receiving federal, state or other dental health
assistance.
- Not have private dental insurance.
- Have a total annual household income of less than $14,500 for a
single person or less than $17,700 for a married couple.
Dental Clinic
Directory
PDA’s online Dental
Clinic Directory lists free or reduced-cost dental
clinics by county and includes information such as clinic location,
hours/days of operation, services provided, patient eligibility, fees,
area(s) served and contact information. If no clinics are listed in the
county you select, then PDA is unaware of any free or reduced-fee dental
clinics in that county and recommends checking your neighboring counties
for nearby dental care.
