2009 PDA Annual Session

The 141^st PDA Annual Session was held April 23-26, 2009, at the Hotel Hershey. This event mixes association business during the day with entertainment and camaraderie in the evening.

On Thursday afternoon, Tom Weber, Esq., lectured on risk management by using actual claims as examples to give attendees practical methods for improving their interactions and enabling them to avoid or mitigate potential claims. The course offered 3 hours of continuing education credit.

Friday night was an evening of "Philly Phun" featuring a buffet of foods that have made Philadelphia famous – cheese steaks, soft pretzels and cannolis just to name a few! Sponsored in part by the Philadelphia County Dental Society and PDAIS.

Saturday night was a memorable evening of music and entertainment honoring Dr. Thomas W. Gamba, and his wife, Cynthia. Sponsored in part by the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Thayer Dental Laboratory, Inc.
