Committee
The NDC identifies
and addresses the needs and concerns of new dentists and makes
recommendations to appropriate leadership. Currently, the chair of the
NDC serves as a consultant on the Board of Trustees. | | New Dentist
ReceptionsReceptions are
held twice a year at locations throughout the state where new
dentist members, non-members and PDA leaders enjoy drinks, appetizers

Placement Service
PDA’s Placement
Service is a members-only, web-based job search assistance
program that matches dentists seeking positions with dentists
providing positions. It is a free, on-line service. | | Statewide Mentoring Program
The Statewide
Mentoring Program matches new dentists and dental students with
volunteer mentors throughout the Pennsylvania. Complete a Mentee
Form to be matched with a mentor in your area. |

Government Relations
PDA's Government
Relations Committee monitors and reports on more than 5,000
bills introduced in the General Assembly and their movement through
committee to the House and Senate floors. PDA also actively
maintains working relationships with state agencies such as the
departments of Health, Public Welfare, Insurance and Environmental

Involved
There is no better way to support the dental profession than becoming
actively involved in your PDA membership. PDA members can get
involved in many ways, including donating supplies to a local
clinic, providing treatment to a needy child or joining a PDA committee,
task force or initiative to help achieve the goals of organized
dentistry. |
