Pennsylvania Dental Foundation
Mission Statement
The Pennsylvania Dental Foundation (PDF) is the PDA's philanthropic and charitable organization that enhances health by providing grants for sustainable programs in education, access to care and assistance for Pennsylvania dentists and their families in need.
Funding Opportunities
Through its Health and Well Being Fund, dentists, hygienists and EFDAs can receive one-time grants to assist with monitoring costs related to chemical dependency.
Through its Relief Fund, the foundation assists dentists and their dependents and former dependents of deceased dentists who, because of accidental injury, advanced age, a physically debilitating illness or medically related condition are prevented from gainful employment and results in an inability to be wholly self-sustaining.
The foundation offers funding for educational and scientific endeavors for the improvement of the dental profession in the grant of scholarships and loans to qualified Pennsylvania resident students pursuing careers in the dental profession and allied health fields, as well as supporting oral health education of the public and members of the dental and medical professions relating to the prevention of dental disease.
