Candidate for ADA Delegate

Dr. Dennis A. Zabelsky

What led you to decide that this was the year you wanted to volunteer for office (PDA Officer or ADA Trustee) or volunteer to attend the ADA and represent the PDA (ADA Delegate or Alternate)?

I took last year off from the ADA meeting. This year it is closer in distance and possibly more comfortable fitting in my schedule.

What is your specific area of interest within organized dentistry?

Government relations, technology, current climate practice issues ...narcotics, radiology, insurance benefits issues.

What is the main issue you see facing the ADA or PDA or Dentistry in general?

Autonomy. keeping the practice of dentistry professional, controlled by professionals, keeping government intrusion into our practices to a minimum, such as waste, amalgam, narcotics, and radiology.

List experience that you have that you feel prepares you for this position.

PDA House of Delegates as a delegate multiple years, 10th District President 2 terms, ADA alternate delegate in Washington DC, attended numerous Day on the Hill and Washington Leadership Conferences.

Why should you receive my vote?

As I always say: "passion and experience"!!!
