Candidate for ADA Delegate

Dr. Renee H. Fennell

What led you to decide that this was the year you wanted to volunteer for office (PDA Officer or ADA Trustee) or volunteer to attend the ADA and represent the PDA (ADA Delegate or Alternate)?

This year, Philadelphia County Dental Society (PCDS) voted to nominate me as a candidate for ADA Delegate representing the Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), at the 2018 Annual ADA Meeting.

What is your specific area of interest within organized dentistry?

I have many interests in organized dentistry. As president of First District, I am heavily involved in mentorship, the integration of our new dentists in leadership roles and increasing diversity.

What is the main issue you see facing the ADA or PDA or Dentistry in general?

There are many issues facing the ADA and PDA, but one issue dear to me is strengthening the interaction and collaboration within the tripartite to help our members succeed and thrive.

List experience that you have that you feel prepares you for this position.

On the HOD for the NDA & PDA. President - New Era Dental Society and PCDS. Board member Mom-n-PA, Passion & Enthusiasm! Diversity Officer TUKSoD.

Why should you receive my vote?

With fresh new ideas and being prepared to actively participate in all sessions, I'll be your voice and represent your concerns on the local and state level. Vote for me! United we are strong!
