Candidate for ADA Delegate

Dr. Cary J. Limberakis

What led you to decide that this was the year you wanted to volunteer to attend the ADA and represent the PDA?

The ADA is at a crossroad regarding important issues, such as Medicare involvement, that requires experienced delegates. My serving on the Council on Dental Practice provides me with that insight.

What is your specific area of interest within organized dentistry?

Protecting our profession from outside influence and intrusion is my main focus.

What is the main issue you see facing the ADA or PDA or Dentistry in general?

For the ADA, it's the Medicare question; for PDA, it's improving membership, for Dentistry, it's the constant evolution of delivery of care.

List experience that you have that you feel prepares you for this position.

Serving as a delegate and on the Council on Dental Practice as well as getting to know other delegates from other Trustee Districts have gained me valuable experience with the workings of the ADA HoD.

Why should you receive my vote?

Those of you who know me, know that I am very passionate about the issues I believe in and I'd appreciate your vote to fight for your interests as a Pennsylvania dentist.
