Beyond the battlefield, visitors can experience historic homes, heritage centers and learn the story of Gettysburg through guided tours. Board of Trustees’ Dinner

Battlefield

The Association of Licensed Battlefield Guides offers personalized tours of the battlefield in the comfort of your own vehicle. Reservations are highly recommended. Tours can be booked at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center or book directly with the Association to receive a discounted rate.

Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center features displays artifacts from the Battle of Gettysburg, The Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama oil painting (1884) and a film about the battle. It also serves as the hub for bus tours of the battlefield and the Eisenhower National Historic Site.

Walking Tours
Gettysburg Licensed Town Historians lead sixty or ninety minute walking tours of downtown Gettysburg each featuring a different perspective of the war. Tours depart from the courtyard behind the Gettysburg Hotel.
