The Kornberg School
of Dentistry is the second oldest dental school in continuous existence in
the United States and, for 140 years, has provided students with a strong

care for underserved population groups. Through partnerships with
community-based organizations, the school addresses access to care issues

University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine
Established in 1896 as an independent institution named the Pittsburgh Dental
College, the school was incorporated into the university in 1905. Students from
across the country and around the world come to study at the University of Pittsburgh School
of Dental Medicine and continue their education through a wide variety of
nationally-recognized academic programs for undergraduate and graduate work.

Student Outreach Events
events that provide students with an opportunity to network with PDA member
dentists in informal settings. Past events include NHL and AHL hockey games,
