Pennsylvania Dental Journal

The Pennsylvania Dental Journal, the official publication of the Pennsylvania Dental Association, is published on a bimonthly basis. With a circulation of approximately 5,000, it is one of the most widely read journals in the nation and a valuable news source for dentists throughout Pennsylvania.

The Journal reports on a vast array of topics, focusing on a combination of recent news items and topical, theme-driven issues. Each year, one of the six issues is devoted to comprehensive coverage of PDA’s Annual Session. It also features numerous regular columns:
  • The Journal's award-winning Impressions column.
  • A government relations column that keeps members up to date on crucial legislative and regulatory issues facing the profession locally and nationally.
  • A membership column that instructs members on how to get involved in volunteer initiatives, dental conferences, mentoring programs and other general membership efforts.
  • Spotlights on volunteer dental clinics as well as members who donate their time and services to needy communities in Pennsylvania and beyond.
The Pennsylvania Dental Journal accepts both display and classified advertising from dental laboratories, product manufacturers, financial institutions and other businesses that serve PDA member dentists.
