Mission Statement
The Pennsylvania Enterprise Resource Corporation’s (PERC) primary purpose is to establish, develop, promote, and conduct activities, programs, and services designed to facilitate the delivery of quality oral health care by individuals engaged in the practice of dentistry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and to transact any and all lawful business for which corporations may be incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth.

Mission Statement
The Pennsylvania Dental Foundation (PDF) is the PDA’s philanthropic and charitable organization
that enhances health by providing grants for sustainable programs in education, access to care and
assistance for Pennsylvania dentists and their families in need.
Funding Opportunities
- The PDF supports efforts to increase access to care and prevention services as well as assist in the
educational endeavors in the dental profession.
The following are funding opportunities the PDF offers: - Relief activities – To provide financial aid to dentists and their dependents who,
because of misfortune, advanced age, or physical or other disabling conditions
results in an inability to be wholly self-sustaining. Also, to support programs to
identify, educate and mentor health care professionals suffering from impairment due
to substance abuse or mental illness. - Educational and scientific activities – To provide funds for the improvement of the
dental profession, in the grant of scholarships and loans to students pursuing careers
in dental profession and allied health fields. - Oral health education – To provide assistance for oral health education of the
public and members of the dental and medical professions relating to the prevention
of dental disease. - Contributions to other charitable organizations – To support other charitable
organizations requesting funds for a purpose aligning with PDF’s relief activities and
educational efforts. The organizations must be recognized by the Internal Revenue
Service as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and be
qualified recipients of charitable contributions under section 170 of the Internal
Revenue Code.
PADPAC is the Pennsylvania Dental Association’s (PDA) political action committee (PAC). PADPAC is a voluntary, non-profit, unincorporated group of dentists who support PDA’s legislative activities. These committed individuals give financial contributions to provide PDA the access needed to discuss issues of importance to the dental profession with state elected officials, members of the Governor’s administration and candidates for state office.
