Pharmacology of Local Anesthetics and Pharmacology Update
Six CE credits recommended for dentists, hygienists and assistants.
"An Overview of Local Anesthetic Agents and Vasoconstrictors" will provide participants with an overview of the local anesthetic agents commonly administered in dental practice, clinical dental considerations and patient care planning techniques necessary with specific disease states.
"Pharmacology Update for the Entire Dental Team" will present an overview of the basic principles of pharmacology in a format that makes it applicable, practical and useful for all members of the dental team. Using case scenarios, special emphasis will be given to drugs administered or prescribed in dental practice, as well as to medications whose actions, effects or interactions with other drugs may impact dental therapy.
Presented by: Thomas Viola, RPh, CCP, is a board-certified pharmacist who also serves the professions of dentistry as a clinical educator, professional speaker and published author.
