Pharmacology of Local Anesthetics and The Medically Complex Dental Patient
This lecture is appropriate for dentists and dental team members.
Morning Session - "An Overview of Local Anesthetic Agents and Vasoconstrictors" will provide participants with an overview of the local anesthetic agents commonly administered in dental practice, clinical dental considerations and patient care planning techniques necessary with specific disease states.
Afternoon Session - "The Medically Complex Dental Patient" will use case scenarios to help attendees develop patient management strategies and techniques essential for successful treatment planning and proper care of the medically complex patient.
