DESCRIPTION:Medical Management of Caries (MMC) \n6 CE credits appropriate for dentists\, hygientists\, assistants and EFDAs\nEducation Method: powerpoint\, lecture\, demonstration and discussion \nYou will learn how\, when and why to best employ medical measures for dental disease management before using surgery\, sedation or general anesthesia. A first generation of MMC techniques plus devices has been validated worldwide at the highest level but a new and emerging second generation is changing everything. There has NEVER been a more exciting time to be in dentistry!\nPresented by John Frachella\, DMD and Jonathan Norris\, DDS. Dr. Frachella sees the medical management of caries as the new\, highly preventive standard of care for the treatment of world-wide populations of patients who desperately need dental services the most. Dr. Norris is an advocate for the practice of minimally invasive dentistry with a focus on non-surgical intervention and reducing pediatric sedations.
