DESCRIPTION:Philadelphia County Dental Society & Pennsylvania Dental Association present: \n8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. — Periodontics: Translating Perio Diagnoses into Clinical Practice and Too Little\, Too Much: Getting the Soft Tissue Just Right\nPresented by: Dr. Adam Saltz\, who maintains a practice in South Portland\, Maine and is the managing editor for Decisions in Dentistry. Dr. Saltz graduated from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio\, where he obtained his Master of Science degree and Certificate in Periodontics. He completed his dental training and received a Master of Public Health degree from Nova Southeastern University. ADA recognized him in 2023 with a 10 Under 10 Award for his contributions in education\, public health and organized dentistry. Dr. Saltz has no relevant financial relationships to disclose. \nPart 1 Translating Perio Diagnoses into Clinical Practice – Patients with advanced periodontal destruction pose a unique challenge to the restorative dentist. Arriving at the proper diagnosis and prognosis for patients with poor oral and overall health will improve the way we rehabilitate an otherwise hopeless dentition.\nPart 2 Getting the Soft Tissue Just Right – This session will aid the dental team as they diagnose\, treat and maintain mucogingival defects and excessive gingival display. Refunds for courses purchased individually will be issued less a 10% administrative fee if the registration is cancelled in writing seven days prior to the program you are attending. If the Select an existing contact option appears and the correct guest’s name is displayed when clicking in the box\, please select his or her name.
