Attend Pennsylvania's Dental Meeting for your keys to success! The meeting offers a variety of topics and you can register for just the courses that interest you by following the steps outlined below. Seating is limited, so please register early. We look forward to seeing you in Hershey.


Online registration is available to PDA member dentists only. ADA dentists outside PA, non-member dentists and dental team members who are not attending the meeting with a PDA member dentist, should print and complete the registration form available at www.padental.org/PDM.
To register please follow these steps:

  1. Login to the website. Every PDA member dentist has a record. The default User ID is your first initial last name and 4 digit year of birth with no spaces. The password is lowercase ada and your membership number. If you don’t remember your login and password or if you are a dental student please contact membership@padental.org
  2. Click “Register Myself” to begin.
  3. Courses are organized by the day they occur. Add the courses and events you wish to attend. 
  4. To register non-dentist (hygienists, assistants or non-licensed guests) attendees for courses and events, click "Add a Guest" under "My Registration Status:" to enter the name of the guest with their designation (RDH, EFDA); click "Save & Close." Please wait (30-seconds) until the icon bearing the name of your guest appears on the screen to start adding the courses and events your guest will attend. Repeat the process until all guests are registered.  
  5. Click “Proceed to Checkout” to review your order and enter your credit card information. Click "Submit Order" to complete the registration process.

Each interactive session provides attendees the chance to ask those burning questions without paying a lawyer! Come prepared with your questions on malpractice avoidance, practice transition, associate agreements, employment issues and State Board of Dentistry regulations. One hour sessions are offered at 10:30 a.m.; 11:45 a.m.; 2:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. NOTE: Answers are for informational purposes only and are not intended as legal advice which can only be given following a detailed analysis of the issues at hand.
Lunch is included with the purchase of the full-day CE course or the hands-on course. Luncheon tickets are available for purchase for spouses/guests and meeting attendees not registered to attend Friday's full-day CE or a hands-on course. Assistants may attend with the dentist (fee required). Dentists and auxiliaries will have the opportunity to fill and polish modern Class II preparations including the Clark Class II Saucer preparation, Opportunistic Lateral Class II preparations, and Calla-Lilly preparations used to replace old amalgams and for weakened, cracked molars. Attendees will experience the latest in matrixing, wedging and separation science with the Dual Force system. The 2-step “Rock Star Polish” will be demonstrated and performed. Techniques for achieving broad, smooth and strong contacts will be taught.

Kamyar Nasseh, PhD, health economist with ADA's Health Policy Institute, will lead each interactive session. Attendees will have the opportunity to examine economic trends and position their practice to thrive. One hour sessions are offered at 8:30 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. or 2:15 p.m.   No continuing education credits are offered. Sessions are free of charge for PDA/ADA member dentists but registration is required and meals are not included with your registration.
Intranasal 3% tetracaine plus 0.05% oxymetazoline (Kovanzaze®) received FDA approval on June 29, 2016, to provide maxillary anesthesia for a single restorative procedure from 2nd premolar to 2nd premolar, and in all primary teeth in patients at least 88 pounds. This lecture will focus on the evidence-based research performed by the speaker, Dr. Elliot V. Hersh, and others that support the use of this novel formulation for routine restorative dental procedures. One hour sessions are offered at 10:00 a.m.; 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.  Meals are not included with your registration. One hour of CE credit appropriate for dentists and hygienists approved to administer local anesthesia.
