Getting Involved
There is no better way to support the dental profession than becoming actively involved in your PDA membership. PDA members can get involved in many ways, including donating supplies to a local clinic, providing treatment to a needy child or joining a PDA committee or advisory group to help achieve the goals of organized dentistry.

New Dentist Events

Events are held twice a year at locations throughout the state where new dentist members, non-members and PDA leaders enjoy drinks, appetizers and conversation. View photos from past receptions and upcoming dates.

Connections Mentoring Program
Connections matches new dentists and dental students with volunteer mentors throughout the Pennsylvania. Complete a Request a Mentor form to be matched with a mentor in your area.

Publications & Resources

We offer a variety of publications to keep you abreast of issues affecting you and your profession.

Consider Pennsylvania! - This publication provides statistics on each area of the state, such as the number of privately practicing dentists, number of patients per dentist and the average age of practicing dentists.

Practicing in Pennsylvania: A Guide for the New Dentist - This interactive publication, known informally as the “New Dentist Roadmap,” is designed to help recent graduates and new dentists transition from dental school to daily dental practice.
