Marvin A. Fier, DDS, FASDA, ABAD - Suffern, NY
Dr. Marvin Fier is a practicing clinician and highly respected lecturer in the USA and internationally on multiple topics including aesthetics, restorative dentistry, and practice management. He served in the US Navy Dental Corps, and presents continuing education courses at many dental schools and prestigious conferences. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Touro College of Dental Medicine. He is the executive vice-president of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Roberto Macedo is among a new generation of practitioners, bringing an infectious energy and a collaborative spirit to treating his patients' dental needs. Dr. Macedo takes pride in his high standards, which he attributes to being involved in all aspects of dentistry from a very young age. His time working in a dental lab was especially helpful to understand aesthetic restorations and what exactly is involved for optimum function. After earning his

She is passionate about the fields of orofacial pain, oral medicine, and dental sleep medicine. Each course she teaches is evidence-based, supported by unique cases that help participants learn and apply the concepts of each disorder. She received her DMD from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, her Masters of Public Health from A.T. Still University and her Certificate of Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the University of Southern California. AM: "My Jaw Hurts! What do I do?" An Overview of Temporomandibular Disorders Diagnosis & Management
PM: Non-Odontogenic Sources of Tooth Pain: Demystifying the Mystery of "Phantom Tooth Pain"
The
AM
course will review the types of TMDs: arthrogenous disorders, myogenous disorders, internal derangements, as well as other uncommon joint conditions. Etiology, pathogenesis, pain mechanisms and dysfunction, examination methods, diagnostic tests, and management strategies will be discussed. Dentists will learn how to differentiate between muscle vs. joint conditions and implement medical, dental, pharmacologic and behavioral treatments. Clinical case studies will be presented to illustrate the treatment of the various TMDs.
The
PM
course will provide a comprehensive review of non-odontogenic sources of tooth pain. Attendees will learn how to differentiate between odontogenic and non-odontogenic toothaches, the appropriate examination methods, diagnostic tests, and management of non-odontogenic toothaches.

Dr. Rico D. Short is a world-renowned, board-certified endodontist with over 25 years of experience in dentistry and more than two decades specializing in endodontics. He is an expert spokesperson on endodontics for the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Short received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He earned his post doctorate degree in Endodontics from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Short is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. His private practice, Apex Endodontics P.C, is located in Smyrna, Georgia just outside Atlanta.
