Pennsylvania's Dental Meeting 2018

To register please follow these steps:
Non-dentist dental team members who are not attending the course with a dentist should download the two-page form available November 1 at www.padental.org/PDM.
1. Sign in to the website. Every dentist has a record. For most dentists, your website default username is your first initial, last name and four-digit year of birth with no spaces. The password is lowercase ada and your ADA number. If you don't remember your username and password, please contact PDA's membership department.

2. Click the Register Myself button. Pricing will be applied based on your member status.

3. To register non-dentist (hygienists, assistants or non-licensed guests) attendees for the course, click +Add a Guest under "My Registration Status:" to add your guest. 

  • If you have previously attended a PDA program with a non-dentist guest, that person may appear as an existing contact. If the Select an existing contact option appears and the correct guest's name is displayed when clicking in the box, please select his or her name. If a unique email address is not listed for this guest, please add it. Click Save & Close.
  • If the Select an existing contact option does not appear, please enter the name of the guest, his or her designation (RDH, EFDA) and a unique email address; click Save & Close.
  • Repeat the process until all guests are registered.
  • Please note: if the same email address is used for all registrants, only one "reminder to attend" email will be sent.
4. Click Proceed to Checkout to review your order and enter your credit card information.

5. Click Submit Order to complete your registration. You will receive a confirmation email.

Shelburne, DDS, who specializes in record keeping and business systems that protect and defend.  3 CE credits recommended for dentists, specialists, hygienists, EFDAs & all office personnel. Dr. Shelburne went to prison on August 20, 2008, and was released on May 14, 2010, and learned a series of lessons the hard way. There are ways to protect and defend a dental practice and to prevent what happened to him from happening to you. You can protect your practice in the event of a Board complaint, insurance audit, malpractice claim, or criminal complaint.

Stout, DMD, MPH, a pediatric dentist in private practice in Erdenheim, PA, as well as a clinical assistant professor of Pediatric Dentistry at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. 2 CE credits recommended for dentists, specialists, hygienists, EFDAs & all office personnel. PDA's program, Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting for Dental Professionals, is approved by the Department of Human Services and the PA State Board of Dentistry and will fulfill Act 31 mandatory CE requirements for licensed dental professionals (dentists, hygienists and EFDAs).

Lieblich, DMD, FACD, FICD, who is in private practice in Avon, CT and maintains a part-time teaching appointment at the University of Connecticut.  4 CE credits recommended for dentists who hold an unrestricted or restricted permit I for anesthesia or use the services of an anesthesia provider with an unrestricted or restricted permit I.  The provision of ambulatory anesthesia is an important component of many dental practices. A contemporary review of anesthesia including a discussion of patient evaluation, medications and determining who can be treated in an office setting will be discussed. PDA’s annual business meeting will be held Saturday, April 28 beginning at 3:15 p.m. with a legislative update. All PDA members in good standing are encouraged to attend. In addition to the update from our lobbyists, members will have the opportunity to voice their opinion on issues affecting dentistry and participate in the Bell/PDAIS Shareholder’s Meeting. There is no fee to attend the business meeting.
