CE – Infection Control In The Era Emerging/Re-emerging Disease(s): What Dental Practitioners Need to Know
Presented by Louis G. DePaola, DDS, MS, FAAOM, FACD, FICD
This program will provide dental providers with the latest information on the
management of recent emerging diseases as well as COVID-19 in the dental office.
And, fulfills CDE requirements for infection control and requirements for annual OSHA training.


1:00 – 4:00 p.m. (optional activity)
Tour and Tasting at RaR Brewing Company (downtown Cambridge)
Round trip transportation provided to enjoy a tour of the brewery process and sample 4 different brews. Food is available for purchase.
$45 per person and participants must be 21 years of age or older.


7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (optional activity)
Sunset Boat Cruise on the Choptank River departing from the Hyatt Pier
The captain will slowly cruise the river while you enjoy the scenery. Bottled water is
provided and you may bring your own snacks and alcoholic or non-alcoholic canned
beverages on board. There is a bathroom on the boat.
$50 per person

CE – Promoting Wellness with Minimally Invasive Dental Techniques
Presented by Mark S. Wolff, DDS, PhD, Morton Amsterdam Dean, University of
Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine
This lecture will cover the diagnostic criteria essential for the modern management of dental caries. And, focus on the methods of preserving tooth structure through
treatments that can arrest, prevent, and even reverse the damage caused by dental
caries.


1:00 – 5:00 p.m. (optional activity)
Fishing Excursion departing from the Hyatt Pier
Cruise the area around the Hyatt and fish for catfish, perch and striped bass. All
equipment, bait and gratuity included in the price and it’s a great time for experienced anglers and beginners alike.
$160 per person; a Maryland fishing license is required and will be an additional fee of $20-$35 per person.


5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Welcome Reception
Open bar and light hors d’oeuvres (food served from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.). One (1) ticket is included with each conference package registration. Additional tickets for attendees 7 years of age and older are available for purchase. Children 6 and under are complimentary. This event will be held indoors at the Hyatt.


Saturday, July 18

8:15 – 11:30 a.m.
CE – Implant Complications from a Restorative Perspective
Presented by Carl F. Driscoll, DMD
The attendee will be exposed to many different complications involving implant
treatment through numerous clinical examples. The handling of these complications will be discussed so that the attendee can better treat his/her patients when unfortunate events dictate immediate reconciliation.


3:15 – 5:30 p.m. (optional activity)
Crab Feast at the Suicide Bridge Restaurant (25-minutes from the Hyatt)
We will have a group reservation at the restaurant for an all you can eat feast with
steamed Maryland hard shell crabs, crab soup, fried chicken, clam strips and more! The all-inclusive price will be announced in May after crabs are in season. Consider booking tickets on the 1:30 p.m. 90-minute riverboat cruise that leaves from the restaurant and then join the crab feast.
